COACHES @ MSC

Picture

Josh Barila -
- Josh has been a swimmer with the club for 13 years competing in local, district, and national competitions. From this his love of coaching grew.
Josh has been coaching at MSC for 6 years, ranging from levels of National and state level swimmers, down to Learn to Swim and babies.

Josh's coaching philosophy is;
'To improve the life of my swimmers by teaching them the value of hard work, healthy competition, and a commitment to excellence; and to instill in them a knowledge and love of swimming that will enable them to lead a healthy life.'

Josh loves coaching so he can see others fall in love with the sport, and seeing each and every swimmer progress. Especially when they smash a PB or when they correct their technique after working on it hard.

Josh currently holds a Swimming Australia Development Coaching Accreditation.
Josh is currently completing his Swimming Australia Advanced Coaching Accreditation.
