MILDURA SWIMMING CLUB DRYLAND RESOURCES

Life will always throw you challenges and obstacles that will test you. In many cases you can’t change them; that out of your control. What you can do, what you must do, is choose how you will react to those challenges and obstacles. The real power you have is in choosing how to think about it, talk about and react to life’s challenges.

We cant train, we cant race, and we cant do gym and dry-land with your mates.. but its now in your hands to show what you CAN do!


You COULD sit at home on the couch and do nothing. You COULD moan and groan and complain about how unfair life is and how terrible this situation is OR you can choose to find ways to get better at training and racing even if you’re not training and racing. The greatest power you have right now is the power of choice. Choose to control the things you can control. Choose to do the things that will help you get better at training and racing and I promise you that when you get back in the water and into the gym, you’ll be the best you’ve ever been.

VICTORIAN COUNTRY CLUBS - DRYLAND CHALLENGE

The 2021 Mildura Victorian Country Organising Committee is starting a competition with all Victorian Country clubs!

We would love to see clubs get behind this!!

The club with the most amount of combined minutes of physical activity, up until when pool facilities open back up, will receive a prize (yet to be determined) at the 2021 Victorian Country LC Swimming Championships Opening Ceremony in Mildura.

We ask that all swimmers record the amount of minutes they exercise for and what exercise they did.

We thought that since everyone is going through the same thing at the moment, it would be great to help build our swimming community and have some fun while doing it.

Mildura swimming club dry-land challenge

As we are all home doing nothing for a few weeks with no training, we have decided to do a challenge within MSC.
We ask that all swimmers to record the amount of minutes they exercise for and what they did. Whether that be a resource on this page, or something you found online.

This can include a bike ride, a run, walk or anything to do with physical activity!

The swimmer with the most combined amount of minutes at the end of the challenge, will receive a prize, which will be announced at the presentation night.

Mildura Swimming Club are lucky enough to have our own Strength & Conditioning Coach, a myotherapist and experienced coaches to deliver an at-home service for our swimmers to access. We will constantly be updating this page with new at-home programs.
